TrumpRx Expands to 800 Drugs — But Who Actually Benefits?

The Durability Question
Even if TrumpRx delivers meaningful savings for its narrow target population, the program's long-term viability is uncertain. It rests on executive authority and voluntary manufacturer agreements, not legislation. A future administration could dismantle it with a stroke of a pen. The tariff leverage that compels manufacturer participation depends on trade policy that can shift with each election cycle.
