The Trump administration expanded TrumpRx.gov to cover more than 800 medications, up from 43 at launch, claiming over $400 million in patient savings. But independent analyses from KFF, the Center for American Progress, and House Democrats find the program's real-world impact is far narrower than advertised: it excludes the 85% of Americans with insurance, many listed discounts match or trail existing platforms like GoodRx, and the bulk of new additions are generics already available cheaply elsewhere.
