Yet a growing number of founders question whether most programs justify the 6-10% equity they demand, fueling a shift toward alternative models like equity-free Google accelerators and low-dilution programs, even as Canada's unique non-dilutive funding mechanisms make the traditional accelerator value proposition harder to justify.
